As of today...
I'm celebrating my 28th birthday, and as I reflect on the past year, I realize just how much life has shifted since I moved. The journey has been a whirlwind of new beginnings, fresh challenges, and the ever-evolving process of adapting to a city that now feels like a comforting shelter.
Moving away meant leaving behind familiar places, routines, and people who shaped my past. However, in return, I have gained perspectives, independence, and resilience I never knew I had.
Every street I walk, every conversation I have, and every little victory remind me of why I chose this path, an adventure filled with learning from nil.
There are days when doubts creep in, when the weight of responsibilities feels heavy. But in these moments, I remind myself that I chose this life because I believe in the magic of new beginnings.
To those who have been part of my journey, near or far, thank you for your support, kindness, and presence. And to MelB, thank you for welcoming me, shaping me, and giving me the space to become the person I am meant to be.
